Seventeen years ago, 50 Cent was properly introduced to the world, when his singles, “Wanksta,” and “In da Club” blew up. The second of those singles is widely regarded as 50 Cent’s first single. But, what happened was the launching of one of the biggest careers in music.
50 Cent branched out from music, getting into films and television. In 2010, 50 closed a $200 million film production deal, leading to such ventures as “Power,” Starz’ successful drama series. Since then, he has launched his own partnership with the Starz network.
It’s going on a decade since 50 Cent had a radio hit, but he has kept himself relevant through social media. The accomplishments of his career have not gone unnoticed. 50 Cent is soon going to receive his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and he is already scheming on how he will get paid off that.
