One reason Kevin Durant receives as much hate as he does is due to how good of a player he is. Literally, he built the Oklahoma City Thunder from nothing, with the help of Russell Westbrook. His impact is evident, seeing the Thunder without him.
A player as great as KD, in the minds of most, should have either stayed in OKC, or not gone to the 73-9 Warriors. Him joining GSW has made them unstoppable. Without him, the Warriors swept Portland, but fell into deep ish, with Kawhi Leonard’s Raptors.
Last night, Raptors’ fans were nervous, when Kevin Durant returned, fearing he’d propel Golden State to a win. When he went down, the jokes came, but the Warriors still won. But, the hate on social media is still there, enough of it for his mom, Wanda Durant aka Mama, to speak out, owning Twitter in the process.
