Behind “Love & Hip Hop,” “Black Ink Crew” is one of the most-valuable franchises VH1 has ever produced. The success of “Black Ink Crew,” the original, Harlem-based, series, led to the Chicago spinoff. As that show has performed well, rumors of other shows have emerged.
For close to a month, there have been rumors of another spinoff that will soon launch. This spinoff is “Black Ink Crew Compton,” which has yet to officially be announced. However, there are people who claim to have seen billboards, in Los Angeles.
A simple Instagram search confirms “Black Ink Crew Compton” actually is coming. This series will star @iamcompton, a popular tattoo artist of the stars. Finally, he is opening his first shop, and this will be the location of “Black Ink Crew Compton,” which has no premiere date.
