These past few years, DJ Khaled has proven to be more than the typical DJ with the A&R singles. Instead, Khaled has been getting it in, topping the Billboard Hot 100. His single, “Wild Thoughts,” is regarded as a classic by most.
Because of the success of Grateful, DJ Khaled took his time for Father of Asahd, the follow-up. The album rollout saw some huge singles fall flat, including a record with Jay-Z and Beyonce. So, Khaled held back, before rolling his new album out.
DJ Khaled, for all of his efforts, still did not debut in the number one spot, on the albums chart. For anyone who competes, that isn’t the best news. But, according to the rumor mill, DJ Khaled had an all out tantrum over his record not topping the charts.
