This year’s NBA Finals is the fifth straight, in the Golden State Warriors era, and it’s different from all the others. The biggest difference is that there is no LeBron James, this year. When he signed with the Lakers, the Cavs were essentially out of the running.
Expert opinions said either the Celtics or Raptors would be the ones to advance to the Finals. However, the Milwaukee Bucks proved to be the toughest team in the NBA East. But, Kawhi Leonard would up sending the Bucks home, leading the Raptors to their first NBA Finals.
In Game 1, Kawhi Leonard got his revenge on the Warriors. But, there was a sixth man, in Drake, who taunted Steph Curry and Draymond Green, throughout Game 1. At the end of Game 1, Drake got into it with Draymond, making for a viral moment, but word is that the two actually had dinner, following the game.
