Every year, there are suggestions about what the BET Awards can do differently. The fact that the events take place, every year, is a major feat, within itself. But, this year, the show is refreshing itself with some new faces.
For whatever reason, fans were believing DJ Khaled would be hosting the show, this year. In 2017, Khaled hosted the BET Hip Hop Awards, down in Miami. Of course, in 2017, DJ Khaled was at the height of his career.
Regina Hall, however, has seen her popularity consistently rise. She has done several big movies, along with some hilarious guest appearances on “black-ish.” Now, Regina Hall is following in the footsteps of Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson, hosting the BET Awards, this year.
