Things continue to go downhill for R. Kelly. He’s still facing 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse for having sex with four underage girls, is going broke and is being investigated for more sex tapes in his home state of Illinois. Feds in that state are also investigating crimes of sex trafficking, tax evasion and obstruction of justice.
Now, a grand jury is set to meet regarding the sex trafficking case, according to TMZ. Federal prosecutors from the Northern District of Illinois will convene the grand jury this month and will bring witness testimonies. These will be about how Kelly supposedly bought plane tickets and hotel rooms for underage girls.
Texts and emails will be shown to prosecutors as evidence in bringing the girls to him. One major piece of evidence will be clothing with semen on them. At this point, it’s only a matter of time before Kelly is brought to justice. The aggravated sexual assault case could definitely put him in prison for a very long time. These other cases will just add even more years to him possibly spending the rest of his life in prison.
