Most came to know 21 Savage, during the summer of 2015, when he seemingly came from nowhere. Soon, he was all over the Atlanta mixtape scene. All of the veterans gave 21 Savage their co-sign, as he became a household name.
But, 21 Savage was virtually forgotten by 2016, and he was quickly written off. Not one to take a loss, 21 Savage was one of 2017’s biggest breakthrough artists. If not for Cardi B and Kodak Black, that title would have really belonged to him.
Thus far, 2019 has seen 21 Savage dominate the year, making him a contender for Artist of the Year. Adding to his momentum, he has gotten one of the game’s most-popular rising acts, in DaBaby, to co-headline his I am > I was tour. The fans on Twitter are hyped for it and they have him trending.
