Last month, former Bad Girls Club star Shannade Clermont was sentenced to a year in prison after spending $20,000 on a dead man’s credit card after their escort date. The man died of a drug overdose. She plead guilty to one count of wire fraud. She had originally been indicted on three felonies, including wire fraud, access device fraud, and identity theft.

Clermont wants to handle some business and have a little fun now before she goes away for a year. According to The Blast, she is asking permission from a judge to be able to leave New York to go to Miami next week.

Clermont needs to handle a paid appearance for Galore Magazine and also spend time with her family. She has until June 4 to check in to prison. The Bureau of Prisons will notify her of which one she will be reporting to. Her and her twin sister Shannon have still been trying to live their best life as evident on Instagram since her sentencing. It’ll be interesting to see if the judge does let her head to Miami with less than a month to go before her prison sentence.
