Since 2014, PnB Rock has been a pretty consistent presence, in the game. He was actually one of the first artists to deviate from releasing mixtapes to just singles. From 2014 through 2017, PnB Rock released nothing but singles, building his profile.
PnB Rock rose to become one of the biggest names in hip hop. By the time he released Catch These Vibes, his momentum was at an all-time high. This morning, he released TrapStar Turnt PopStar, his newest album.
Given today’s climate, fans don’t necessarily know when their favorite artist is dropping. Nowadays, rappers just drop at random, and fans see it on their streaming services. This was how PnB Rock fans learned of his new album and they are all over Twitter, calling it “a vibe,” among other things.
