Legendary movie director recently suffered a major stroke and was in a coma, according to his mother. Now, his daughter Cleopatra Singleton is denying this claim from her and is saying that his health is getting better, per The Blast.
Cleopatra says that John is progressing “every single day” and could even be out of ICU in five days. She added that he is breathing on his own and “is only medically sedated to keep his blood pressure low and allow the vessels in his brain to heal.” John has also been smiling “on many occasions.”
Hopefully John continues to progress the way his daughter says and is indeed out of the hospital within the next week. He’s very respected in the film industry as well as he’s directed classics such as Boyz n the Hood, Poetic Justice, and Baby Boy.
