It’s hard to look at T.I. and not be inspired by him. Yeah, people look at where he is, now, and they criticize him for being too preachy, sometimes, but he’s come a long way. Given his background, he wasn’t even supposed to make it.

T.I. didn’t just make it, he became one of the biggest names in music, on an improbable run. At a time when hip hop was lacking a “king,” T.I. made hits. Of course, he crowned himself “king,” calling himself that, naming his album that, and naming his son that.

As he’s grown, T.I. is now an older man, he is a reality TV star, and he is giving back to his community. Vocal about Nipsey Hussle’s death, Tip pulled a Nipsey move. During the Easter holiday, T.I. bailed out 23 nonviolent offenders from jail and he is now offering them weekly mentorship.
