Over the past year, City Girls have come out of nowhere to take over the game. Towards the end of 2017, QC signed the Miami duo, consisting of Yung Miami and JT. Initially, JT was the group’s most-popular member, but Yung Miami holds that title, now.
City Girls had a decent buzz, but all that accelerated, when Drake tapped them for “In My Feelings,” topping Billboard. That run was when the courts decided to sentence JT to prison. Since then, Yung Miami has held the group down.
Yung Miami, representing the duo, stopped by Power 105.1, talking with Angie Martinez. She talked about being City Gils, while JT is serving her time, and how that is going for her. The rising star also spoke on the family vibe that QC has, along with the “City Boys.”
