Tonight, right in the middle of the Celtics/Wizards game, TNT caught a press conference with Magic Johnson. The press conference was to announce Johnson was stepping down as Lakers’ president. When the news hit, Magic said he hadn’t even informed Jeanie Buss, yet.
It’s no secret that the Los Angeles Lakers underperformed, this year. A year ago, LeBron James joined the Lakers, and optimistic fans assumed this would make them contenders, again. Instead, the Lakers missed the playoffs for the sixth straight time.
LeBron James is now one of Twitter’s leading trending topics. The fans on Twitter are blaming LeBron for Magic Johnson leaving his role as team president. Not only are they accusing him of getting rid of Magic, but they also say he has Luke Walton next, and are surprised Jeanie Buss was not informed.
