When Nipsey Hussle died, many focused their attention to an interview that Boosie did, speaking on hate in a person’s own hood. Then, after the death of Nipsey, Boosie spoke on how they did him. A local, but successful, rapper was killed, and Boosie had his take.
Boosie is also a “local rapper,” but he has had some chart-topping records. Even though he was just the featured artist, Boosie is best-known for “Wipe Me Down” and “Independent.” Both of those singles saw Boosie steal the show.
Five years ago, Boosie was released from prison, after spending five years in prison. There were rumors of him being sent back to prison the day he was released. Now, just days after the fifth anniversary of his freedom, Boosie is back in police custody, picked up on felony drug and firearm charges, and Twitter calls conspiracy, saying they took Nipsey, but can’t have Boosie.
