The end of this month will make a year since Ralo has been in prison. He was taken into the feds on drug charges that state he supposedly had $1 million worth of marijuana on him. Since then, his team has been fighting for criminal justice reform when it comes to marijuana and are looking for bills to be passed. As far as music, Ralo put out his ‘Conspiracy‘ project in October.
In February, it was revaled on Ralo’s Instagram page that he denied the government’s offer for five years in prison and that he’d be aiming to come home sometime this year. Now, the latest development is that he gets to keep some of his major assets.
Ralo revealed via IG that the government tried to take away the money in his bank account along with his Lamborghini. The court filed his motion though and he gets to keep those personal belongings.
Prior to getting locked up, Ralo had signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 label and kicked 2018 off by releasing his ‘Diary of the Streets 3‘ mixtape. He was one of the hottest rising rappers in Atlanta.
Hopefully Ralo gets released soon. We see so many companies in corporate America profit off of marijuana but black men still sadly get incarcerated for years for it. Check out Ralo’s post about the latest court ruling below.
