It’s been almost 24 hours since Nipsey Hussle was murdered in front of his The Marathon Clothing store in his hometown of Los Angeles. The west coast lost a legend and this was one of the worst moments in hip-hop in a while. There have been many theories as to who did the shooting but now, we could finally be getting some much needed answers.
According to the New York Daily News, the gunman is supposedly someone Hussle knew. The Los Angeles County coroner’s autopsy also ruled the incident a homicide. It’s also confirmed that Hussle suffered gun wounds to the head and torso. According to TMZ, Nipsey accused the shooter of being a snitch to the police in the past and that’s when the man let the gun go off three separate times after going back to get the weapon.
The NY Daily News source also added that a motive was “a deal gone wrong.” Hopefully the shooter gets brought to justice soon. Nipsey did so much for the LA community and always served as a positive role model. Hussle is also fresh off of an amazing 2018 where his new album ‘Victory Lap’ was just nominated for a Grammy award for Best Rap Album.
