Rick Ross has had his share of controversy when it comes to talking about drugging women. On the hit song “U.O.E.N.O,” Ross raps, “Put Molly all in her champagne, she ain’t even know it/I took her home and I enjoyed that, she ain’t even know it.” The line cost him an endorsement deal with Reebok.
He is now coming to Cardi B’s defense after she is facing similar backlash for a video that resurfaced where she said would drug and rob men. I’m the video Ross says, “Leave Cardi B alone and the reason I tell you that is in a lot of circumstances, that’s what come with that lifestyle. She never hid that.” He then goes on to say “If you stole a car in the past, that don’t mean you shouldn’t get money in the future. As long as you change your ways and we all know Cardi B focused on the money now and she is a leader.”
Cardi currently has an endorsement deal with Reebok and some are calling this whole ordeal a double standard. What are your thoughts?
