Nicki Minaj hired Cristina Acevedo as her stylist for her tour in 2017 but isn’t doing her part as far as paying Acevedo for her work. According to The Blast, Acevedo was supposed to be paid $1,500 per day. She worked for 10 hours each day for 24 days. Acevedo says she’s supposed to be paid $43,200.
Minaj has no plans of paying her at all though. In an email, she said “No one is paying you 36 thousand dollars. Send an email with some sense or don’t send any others. This isn’t your get rich quick scheme.” Acevedo is now handing down a lawsuit against Minaj. Acevedo added that Minaj doesn’t even plan to pay one penny for her work.
Acevedo is including Pink Friday Productions and Pink Personality Inc in the lawsuit as well. In addition to the $43,200, damages are also being looked at being received.
