In the early 2010s, 2 Chainz established himself as a force in the game, breaking out and becoming his own man. Early in 2012, 2 Chainz entered a joint venture with Def Jam. Also, he and Kanye West became close, making for some classic records.

2 Chainz had an explosive 2012, making memorable records with many big names, Drake included. In 2013, he was right back, working alongside the likes of Pharrell, in his comeback. After 2014, 2 Chainz was out of the spotlight for three years, returning in 2017.

Here, in 2019, 2 Chainz is back on top of the game, with Rap or Go to the League, his fourth studio album. Making his media rounds, he sits down with Elliott Wilson for “CRWN,” on TIDAL. The Atlanta rapper spoke on the new album, his drug dealer stories, his career, and the future.
