Nearly a year ago, Safaree got robbed on his way to a his interview with Angie Martinez. Known for rocking his furs and extensive jewelry, Safaree made himself a major target. This is something Joe Budden actually told him, on “Love & Hip Hop,” this season.
Aside from being a part of an endless list of Safaree jokes, the robbery has been forgotten by most. The fans seem to always clown Safaree for one reason or another. But, life has been looking good for Safaree, who is engaged to Erica Mena.
Life has now gotten even better for Safaree, as the men who robbed him have been indicted. Shawn Harewood, Tacuma Ashman, and Carl Harry are charged. They are charged with armed robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm in the second degree.
