‘Space Jam 2’ Official Release Date Has Been Revealed With Ryan Coogler and Terence Nance Behind The Scenes

The official release date for the long awaited Space Jam sequel has been revealed. The highly anticipated follow up movie, Space Jam 2 will feature NBA Star Lebron James as the lead with the film set to hit the cinemas on July 16th, 2021.

The continuation to the much loved live action/animated movie which initially came out back in 1996 starring NBA legend Michael Jordan alongside the Looney Tunes universe characters, was officially confirmed back in September that Lebron was casted as the lead and it is to be his first major acting role.

Production on Space Jam 2 is set to begin later this year. Black Panther’s  Ryan Coogler will produce while Random Acts of FlynessTerence Nance will take control of the movie’s directing.

Warner Bros. will be releasing Space Jam 2 in 2021, 25 years shy from the release of the original movie. James’ SpringHill Entertainment confirmed the news in an Instagram post last night (February 21), which you can see below.
