Former NBA player, Jay Williams, was a promising player, when he was drafted, in 2002. Joining the Chicago Bulls, he had a chance to become the team’s first franchise player, since Michael Jordan left. It wasn’t meant to be, as a motorcycle accident effectively ended his career.

Not one to give up, Jay Williams played for the New Jersey Nets, briefly, before going to the D League, eventually retiring there. But, basketball was only Williams’ first act. That avenue helped him start a successful career in business, where he rubs elbows with the elite.

Jay Williams visited “The Breakfast Club,” this morning, where he sat down with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. Their conversation was about being a businessman, mistakes he made, and more. He went really deep on ownership, using Steve Ballmer, the Clippers’ owner, as an example.
