21 Savage Will Appear On Good Morning America To Discuss Being Locked Up By ICE; Says He Was Definitely Targeted [VIDEO]

21 Savage was released from ICE custody this week. His U.S visa has been pending since 2017. His 2014 drug conviction was  also erased but still showed up in court records. ICE ignored this and still held him without bond. He could still sadly be deported as Donald Trump’s immigration policies say that even with a pending visa, one could be deported until the visa is approved.

21 will now speak publicly about this wrongful incident on Good Morning America tomorrow. He will also discuss his initial arrest when he was then sent to ICE. He was with fellow East Atlanta rapper Young Nudy at the time.

“I don’t even know,” said Savage. “I was just driving and I just seen guns and blue lights. And then I was in the back of a car and I was gone,” he recalled. “They didn’t say nothing. [They] said, ‘We got Savage.'”

When asked if he was targeted by ICE, Savage said “definitely.” The complete conversation between him and Good Morning America will be seen on ABC at 7PM.
