Since joining “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood,” in 2016, Safaree has become the face of the franchise. The following year, he transitioned into “Love & Hip Hop,” in New York, like he was always on the show. In between, he also did “Scared Famous.”

During the “Scared Famous” run, Safaree hit on Erica Mena to no end, and it paid off. While it didn’t seem likely, at first, Safaree ended up making Erica his wife to be. It remains to be seen whether she will return to “Love & Hip Hop,” but Rich Dollaz will soon confront him.

However, Safaree may be trying to leave “Love & Hip Hop,” as Erica did in 2015. The upcoming reunion show, Safaree signed on to be a part of it. But, when it came time to do it, Safaree cited safety concerns and mental stress, and backed out, at the last minute, leaving VH1 execs upset, and ready to take action.
