Everybody knows that fans love a good joke and Pusha T has become one, over the past 24 hours. Since early in Drake’s career, Pusha T has enjoyed taking shots at Drake, knowing he wouldn’t reply. When Pusha returned, in 2018, many wondered if he’d go at Drake, again.
The biggest difference between 2011-2012 and 2018 was Drake actually became the biggest name in rap. While he always had hits, he earned his stripes going at Meek Mill. But, many also warned Pusha T wasn’t Meek Mill, no disrespect to Meek, of course.
Ultimately, most people agree Pusha T won the rap battle with Drake, but the war was always for Drizzy. Last night, at the Grammys, Drake won Best Rap Song, and fans jumped on Pusha T’s reaction, turning it into a meme. Then, fans dug up a 2017 interview, where Pusha T promised he’d have 2018’s Album of the Year.
