Gucci got themselves into hot water this week as they decided to sell a sweater that resembles wearing blackface. It featured an all-black sweater with red lips around it. Many artists are calling for a boycott of the high-end brand and now T.I. is the latest.

The King of the South took to Instagram tonight to bring on a full boycott of Gucci. He said he was a seven-figure a year customer and long-time supporter but now they got him and everybody else f*cked up. He added that their apology isn’t accepted.

“We ain’t going for this “oops my bad I didn’t mean to be racist and disrespectful towards your people” shit!!! Y’all knew wtf y’all was doin and WE AINT GOING FOR IT!!!”

T.I. said everyone needs to stop supporting this piece of s*it company and and all others until they learn to respect people’s dollars and business. He also explained how people of color spend $1.25 trillion per year on these designers but are the least respected and the least included as customers.

T.I. concluded by saying that it will get to the point where he will wear Target’s clothes instead. The post concluded with #F*ckGucci. Salute to T.I. for always using his platform to address racial injustices in America. Seeing such high quality brands slip up with racist incidents like this is always tough to see happen, especially from regular buyers.

Check out T.I.’s original IG post calling for the boycott along with the call to action asking customers to stop buying Gucci for the next three months, not wearing anything Gucci that they already have, and sharing this message with others.
