The Oscars are coming up and Tiffany Haddish was a big choice by fans to host it after Kevin Hart was forced to step down after old tweets surfaced of what appeared to be homophobic comments. It looks like there will be no host for the first time in 30 years.
Haddish will be starring in “The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part” on February 8. She was at the premiere for the film last night and was asked by Variety about the possibility of hosting the Oscars in the future. Haddish is all for it but doesn’t want to host it by herself.
Haddish said that she’d like to host the awards “one day” with either Maya Rudolph or Will Arnett. She doesn’t want everything to be all on her.
“I would love to do it with someone. I don’t need all that responsibility on my shoulders — it’s already hard enough being the queen.”
