Keri Hilson explains to a fan that no one “got her out” of the game, that she decided to leave at the height of her career due to “handle some internal biz,” and hints that her hiatus is over [PHOTO]

A lot of people forget how long it took for Keri Hilson to pop, before she finally got established, as an artist. In 2006, she was signed to Polow Da Don’s Zone 4 label, via Interscope. She did records for artists on the major label, including Lloyd Banks.

Originally, Keri Hilson was supposed to drop her debut album, in 2007, following Rich Boy’s release. She even did the hook on “Good Things” for her former label-mate. Her album was delayed to 2008, with “Energy” being a promo single, followed by “Turn Off,” with Lil Wayne.

Keri Hilson was delayed until 2009 and “Turn Off” became the mega-hit, “Turnin’ Me On,” making Keri a household name. After dominating 2009, she returned in 2010 with “Pretty Girl Rock,” dominating well into early 2011, before disappearing. Many fans have had theories, but one fan who shared it got the real story from Miss Keri Baby.
