Despite her initial claim to fame being a part of a girl R&B group, Kandi is often the butt of jokes, when it comes to her singing. A lot of people are musically-inclined, but not the best talent-wise. Often, when the girls sing, there is shade-throwing in Kandi’s direction.
Earlier this season, on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Kandi got into a sing-off with Shamari. In addition to being Ronnie Devoe’s wife, she is also a member of Blaque, another 1990s R&B girl group. Decisively, people say Kandi lost to Shamari, for which she took in good fun.
Last night, though, Kandi took the mic, and she sang with Shamari, on the song, “Understanding.” This time around, Kandi made sure the world saw and heard she has talent, too. For once, Twitter is giving her credit, saying she killed that high note, and telling NeNe to not hate, only throw shade on the truth.
