When Drake rose to the top of the game, signing with Young Money, and having Cash Money’s support, Toronto got a big spotlight. His rise helped cast spotlight on The Weeknd. The two were so close that people thought Weeknd was OVO, early on.

In 2011, Drake featured The Weeknd on “Crew Love,” one of his many hit singles off Take Care. The two reunited, back in 2017, but there have been rumors of beef. These rumors coincided with rumors of him dating The Weeknd’s ex surfaced, with no proof.

Recently, The Weeknd released “Lost In The Fire” and the record has people talking. As fans give it a listen, they are drawn to a line about him having a kid, but promising to not keep it a secret. On Twitter, these fans think The Weeknd is throwing shots at Drake, leading to questions about the two having beef.
