Definitely, the freeform network got more viewers, tonight, than it’s had in months. Their flagship show, “grown-ish,” returned for season two, and the network rewarded the fans. For their dedication, “grown-ish” returned for a two episode, one hour, season premiere.
Picking up right where they left off, “grown-ish” has Zoey (Yara Shahidi) returning from summer break. Excited, she can’t wait to see Luca (Luka Sabbat), her boyfriend, who spent the summer in Paris. But, she learns he’s been on campus for days, not even bothering to contact her.
While Zoey was all up in arms over Luca, Aaron (Trevor Jackson) was her rock. The fans on Twitter noticed this and they gave Zoey a suggestion, some of the women speaking from experience. They advised Zoey that Aaron is the guy she needs to be with.
