In 2018, Meek Mill had a huge comeback, and had it not been for Tyga, he would have had 2018’s top comeback. That doesn’t take away from how Meek Mill overcame adversity, though. The Philly rapper is now a veteran and he continued his string of making hits.
Having Jay-Z backing him, shout outs from Beyonce, and his other connections, Meek Mill bounced back. A surprising supporter came in the form of Drake, his former friend, turned rival. Ironically, Drake was credited for “ending” Meek Mill’s career.
When Meek Mill returned, he had Drake’s support, along with the others, and Championships debuted strongly. His single, “Dangerous,” with Jeremih and PnB Rock continues to dominate radio, as Jay-Z presented Meek with a Roc-A-Fella chain. In Miami, Meek celebrated, rocking this same chain.
