In 2016, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie built a lot of momentum, and became a major rising artist. Since then, the Highbridge rapper has solidified himself as a household name. Being featured on a major Chris Brown single helped him a great deal.
A Boogie has since released Hoodie SZN, an album which has people talking. Finally, all the talk about “What happened to New York?” and who will bring NY back has ended. The city has Cardi B and 6ix9ine, in addition to A Boogie, among others, bringing the noise.
Last week, A Boogie stopped by Hot 97, where he would speak with the whole Ebro morning crew. Talking with Ebro, Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez, he explained how he got the Michael Jackson sample cleared. He also said Hoodie SZN is the album of the year.
