In 2008, Ace Hood made his debut, following much hype from his then-partner, DJ Khaled. Actually, Ace Hood was the first artist signed to his label, We The Best, when it was partnered with Def Jam. When they moved to Cash Money, Birdman said Ace Hood was his main reason.
Ace Hood would depart We The Best, in 2016, when he began focusing more on his own movement. Now, Hood Nation is his primary focus, as he has made a popular series with Trust The Process. But, it’s going on six years since he last had a hit.
At the 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards, Ace Hood and Shelah Marie, his longtime girlfriend, took time out to speak to Hip-HopVibe.com. In the interview, the two talked about fitness. The conversation wouldn’t end before Ace Hood announced his fifth album was on the horizon.
