In the 2010s, Yo Gotti has managed to establish himself as a star, even though he’s been putting out music since 2001. Finally, he gained enough mainstream appeal to land a major deal. Now, Yo Gotti is good for a hit record, every other year, with each hit being bigger.

Yo Gotti has such hits as “Act Right,” with YG and Jeezy, “Down in the DM,” and “Rake It Up,” with Nicki Minaj, under his belt. Currently, he has a couple of singles picking up momentum. As it stands, Gotti reached new heights with his “Rake It Up” single.

Aside from his music, Yo Gotti also has his CMG label, where many artists have spoken out against him. Add Plane Jaymes to the list, but he’s speaking out for different reasons. The CMG rapper said his lack of promotion was intentional, with Gotti turning on him once he found out he was gay, with a boyfriend.
