A fixture in hip hop, Big Boy is just as important as Big Boi, if not more important, in some aspects. Big on the West Coast, Big Boy held it down for Power 106, for years. But, in 2014, he had to make a big move, and he joined Real 92.3.
Big Boy moving shifted the power and Real 92.3 has remained LA’s biggest hip hop station since then. His move is similar to “The Breakfast Club” shifting Power 105.1 to the top station over Hot 97. No mistake that both Real 92.3 and Power 105.1 are owned by the same company.
Not on the radio, Big Boy was recently driving, when he was hit by a drunk driver. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the wreck, but Big Boy was outdone, as most would be. After the wreck, the drunk driver continued to drink, and all of it was caught on camera.
