Very few NBA players have received comparisons to LeBron James. A lot of this is because LeBron James has been compared, himself, to players like Michael Jordan, his entire career. Few people are willing to admit LeBron is his own player, and nothing like MJ.
A much bigger player, LeBron James plays a different position, and can play all the positions. Now, Ben Simmons is following in his mold, helping turn the Philadelphia 76ers around like LeBron did for the Cavs, twice. This year, it was clear LeBron was leaving Cleveland.
Plenty of rumors suggested LeBron James would be signing with the Los Angeles Lakers. But, there were rumblings of LeBron James teaming up with Ben Simmons in Philadelphia. Recently, Ben Simmons spoke on this, saying he talked with LeBron, before his decision, and had him strongly considering Philly.
