Suddenly, the Lakers have gone from a team that is potentially a playoff team to a title contender. Much of this came from LeBron James signing with the team. His signing also saw the arrival of Rajon Rondo and Lance Stephenson, LeBron’s former rival.
Adding them to a core, led by Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram, there is a chance the Lakers are a major threat in 2019. Coming into this season, they are viewed as a threat. The NBA did their part, scheduling their first game against Golden State on Christmas.
Aside from that game, LeBron James’ Lakers will have 42 other nationally televised games. These games will air on ABC, TNT, ESPN, and all other NBA outlets. The Lakers will have the most-televised games this season.
