The past year has seen Rich The Kid fully establish himself as a star, in this rap game. For years, Rich The Kid has played a role, but it was clear he wasn’t a major star. All of that changed, when Rich The Kid dropped “New Freezer,” with Kendrick Lamar.
Rich The Kid followed that song with “Plug Walk,” which officially made him a household name. The Atlanta rapper has navigated both rap beefs and discovering big names. He helped Chicago’s Famous Dex establish himself, among other people.
However, Rich The Kid has also had his fair share of struggles, this year. There was the incident with Lil Uzi Vert, and also his robbery. He now appears to be going through some form of meltdown, posting RIP on his page, and deleting all of his other IG posts.
