Try as they might, people still keep trying to play up some petty beef between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. A lot of that comes from the tension that Lil’ Kim had with Nicki Minaj when she was coming up. But, not everybody has to beef with each other!
Male rappers have dominated hip hop, from the beginning. Yes, some male rappers have beefed, Jay-Z and Nas come to mind, but they weren’t expected to. With Nicki Minaj and Cardi B owning the game, this is a rare time when TWO female rappers are winning.
Nicki Minaj and Cardi B have both made it clear they have no interest in being enemies. Last night, Nicki Minaj gave Cardi B a $5,000 gift basket for her and Offset’s baby girl. But, people will probably try and take the positiveness out of that, too.
