Nicki Minaj comes under fire after homophobic lyrics from “Womp Womp,” “Dead Wrong,” and “So Special” resurface

No stranger to controversy, Nicki Minaj has spent the bulk of her career going at one person or another. When Nicki Minaj signed with Young Money, back in 2009, she immediately lent the label credibility. Most only viewed it as Lil Wayne’s project, named after Cash Money.

Nicki Minaj has continued to break records, with her music. Easily, she is the biggest female rapper, of this decade. However, since last summer, Cardi B has been one of the top five rappers in the game, and she’s still riding high.

With the game increasingly belonging to Cardi B, Nicki Minaj continues to face backlash. Much of this is unfair, because there is plenty of room for Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Remy Ma, Iggy Azalea, and all others to be successful. But, some homophobic lyrics from Nicki Minaj resurfaced, this weekend, landing her in more trouble.
