Through the years, Jamie Foxx has done some of everything, and worked with some of everybody. In the mid-2000s, Jamie Foxx became a contender for the top R&B spot. A year after Usher had his Confessions run, Jamie Foxx came with Unpredictable.
The title track, featuring Ludacris, was the lead single, and Jamie Foxx came with it. Coming into R&B, Jamie Foxx used his Hollywood appeal to flex his muscle. As he was fresh off his “Gold Digger” hook, for a still-emerging Kanye West, Jamie Foxx was on top of the game.
Jamie Foxx brought out some of the biggest women in Hollywood, at the time, for the “Unpredictable” music video. He had Eva Longoria, during the height of “Desperate Housewives'” success, LisaRaye, when “All of Us” was the ish, and Claudia Jordan, along with a ton of other ladies who would later find VH1 success.
