Will Smith talks about his return to music, winning the first rap Grammy award, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” today’s rap, and more on RapRadar Podcast on TIDAL [VIDEO]

Usually, people have jokes about Will Smith, but he’s the prototype of what the modern rapper is. He took his popularity and turned it into a successful TV show, where he got producer credits. Then, he flipped that into a successful film career, where he ventured into production.

Will Smith is doing his thing, with the music, once again. The Philly rapper is reminding people that he raps, and he’s got bars. This is not the same Will Smith that was drawn into the Nas/Jay-Z stuff in the awkwardest way.

Recently, Will Smith spoke to Rap Radar, on their TIDAL podcast, and he explained why he’s back to doing music. Since he was the first rapper to win a Grammy, it makes sense, and he also discussed his classic sitcom, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” During the interview, Will Smith also spoke on current rap, including Drake and Meek Mill.
