Definitely, DJ Akademiks has made it clear that he wants to see Drake win, all of the time. With his new album, Scorpion, Drake has not gotten the usual strong reviews he’s used to. Instead, it looks like a trend, as Views was panned by fans, as well.
DJ Akademiks has a lot of egg on his face, given the Drake standom he has given him. But, this hasn’t stopped him from continuing to support his favorite artist. He even has a theory on why Drake’s album isn’t up to par.
In a very insane rant, DJ Akademiks blames Pusha T for Drake not delivering his best work. He was going in on some of everything, during this conversation. It is safe to say that Akademiks lost his grip, for a short period of time, over this.
