Before VH1 solidified itself as a juggernaut, with the “wives” shows, such as “Basketball Wives” and “Love & Hip Hop,” Royce Reed was there. She was definitely one who could bring the drama, but the people loved her. Royce was smart enough to avoid the drama, long term.
Royce Reed has since slowly faded from the spotlight. Still, however, she maintains her friendships, on the show, as well as her rivalries. A lot of people may have forgotten that she and Tami Roman were friends, rivals with Evelyn and Jennifer.
Last night’s episode of “Basketball Wives” saw Jennifer drop the bomb about Evelyn hooking up with Shaunie’s ex. Many may have forgotten, but back in 2010, Shaq had it filed in court that Shaunie’s show was to never mention him, so when his name was mentioned, it was bleeped out. While Evelyn tried to accuse Tami of lying, as Jen said the info came from her, Royce took to Twitter, claiming it was true, and she had the receipts.
