HHV Exclusive: Omari Hardwick talks new music project, being an artist since 2001, booking “Power,” race, and what to expect on season five

Four years ago, Omari Hardwick made his debut as ‘Ghost’ on “Power” and things haven’t been the same, since. Every summer, fans have grown accustomed to seeing Ghost and Tommy (Joseph Sikora) battle it out, over their turf. Meanwhile, Ghost battles himself, as James.

As Ghost tries to be James St. Patrick, his real name, and become a businessman, the streets keep pulling him back in. Add to that, his history with Kanan (50 Cent) and life gets complicated. Then, this past season saw his daughter, Raina (Donshea Hopkins) get killed.

Omari Hardwick spoke to Hip-HopVibe.com, when he and Alex Jackson sat down. In addition to acting, Omari Hardwick is now rapping, and he gave us the scoop on his new project. The popular actor would also discuss the upcoming season of “Power,” and what Ghost and Tasha (Naturi Naughton) will do next.
