Last year, Rich The Kid finally began receiving mainstream looks. This is a man that’s been working for years, first posted on Hip-HopVibe.com back in 2012. Each year, he has consistently built his buzz, going from an early deal at QC, to his own deal at Interscope.

After signing a few artists to his own imprint, Rich The Kid finally saw his own music break through. It started with “New Freezer” and it continued with “Plug Walk.” The second of those two has added a platinum plaque to Rich’s collection.

Unfortunately, Rich The Kid has run into some haters. According to reports, he was the victim of a home invasion. Reportedly, men approached him with guns, beating him, and robbing him of significant amounts of cash and jewelry.
