Contrary to popular belief, beef is good for hip hop, but only when it stays on wax. This is when rappers are forced to step it up and be their best possible them. What happened with Pusha T and Drake brought out the best in both rappers.
Creatively, Drake also stepped it up, as “I’m Upset” saw him embrace his “Degrassi” past in the biggest possible way. He actually reunited with his former cast-mates. In the event Pusha T came back for him, he couldn’t use Jimmy against him.
Pusha T recently talked to Big Boy, in Queens, for Nas’ Nasir album release party. The two had a brief interview, where Pusha T spoke on the new album. Given what happened, Pusha T spoke on Drake, declaring that beef to be over.
