In the end, the Golden State Warriors were just too much. The Warriors have worked hard to be the NBA’s most-dominant team, and they were built, specifically for the Cavaliers. Back in 2016, Cleveland pulled off an improbable win against the Warriors.

Both NBA Finals, since then, the Warriors have prepped for Cleveland to do the impossible again. Kevin Durant was signed as insurance against that. Adding KD to Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson made the Warriors unbeatable.

LeBron James has a legacy much different than other generational leaders, due to his Finals losses. In the future, LeBron will probably be lauded for even defeating this Warriors’ team to win a title. But, in the here and now, LeBron spoke on being swept, Draymond Green, his Miami years, possibly leaving Cleveland, and more.
